Amplitude calibration
===============================

The amplitude calibration simply consist of multiplying the amplitude by the calibration number. Each calibration number depends on the transmitter's frequency, the orientation (N/S or E/W direction) and the receiver's electronics.

The calibrations numbers are an attribute of the :py:class:`~vlf4ions.class_definition.station` class (see :ref:`station_class`).
